Check what a course is made of before assigning it to someone, without having to enroll yourself to see it.
Know how long it will take your people: how many sections it has, which ones are video and which ones end in a quiz.
See the quiz questions and their correct answers, to answer questions when someone disputes a grade.
Copy the course's direct link to share it on your internal channel.
Download the course outline as a PDF when someone higher up asks to see the syllabus before approving the training plan.
Navigation: Concientización → Academia → Cursos. Click the card of the course you want to review. The Detalle del curso opens. (If you saved the old link, the one that ends in /content, it takes you to this same screen.)
At the top you see the course cover with its title, its language, and its description. Below it there are tabs:
General: the course content, with its sections, as described below.
Encuestas: appears only in courses that can collect surveys: those in the Whalemate catalog and, in your own courses, when your company has the Habilitar encuestas de satisfacción option turned on in Configuración → General. For now it is empty.
If it is your company's own course, at the top right of the cover you will see a pencil to edit. Copiar link is at the top right, next to the breadcrumbs.
On the left, the list of sections stays fixed, in the order in which the employee will do them. Each one has an icon according to its type (text, video, or quiz), and with one click the panel on the right shows that whole section.
Inside a section you can find four types of block: video, text, practice, and quiz. It is the same content and the same order your employee sees when taking the course; the difference is in the quiz.
In this view the correct answers are marked. In both the quiz and the practices, the valid option is highlighted. This is on purpose: it is the administrator's view. Whoever takes the course sees them unmarked.
The Copiar link button copies the direct link to the course to the clipboard, like academy.whalemate.com/#/dl/course/…. Whoever opens it goes straight to that course; if it is not assigned to them, the platform enrolls them automatically. When you copy it you see the message "Link copiado", and if your browser blocks the clipboard, "No se pudo copiar el enlace".
That link is the simplest way to add people to a course from your intranet or an internal email, and for that very reason it is best not to publish it outside your organization. The full behavior is in the documentation for the direct link to a course.
The Descargar PDF button downloads the course outline: its title and its subtitle, and then each numbered section with its title, its subtitle, and its description.
The PDF does not include the content of the sections. It does not include the videos, the texts, the practices, or the quiz questions: it is the syllabus, not the material. If what you need is the full content for an audit, ask for it through the support chat.
Can I edit the course from here? Only if it is your company's own course: in that case a pencil appears over the cover that takes you to editing. Whalemate courses are not edited; if you need to change the content, the way out is to create a custom course, which has its own documentation.
Do my employees see the correct answers the way I do?
No. The mark on the correct option is part of the administrator's view. Whoever takes the course sees the questions without the answers highlighted.
I downloaded the PDF and the questions and videos are not there.
That is expected: the PDF is the course outline (the sections with their description) and not the material itself. To review the real content, go through it on this screen.
I copied the link and it tells the person they have no access.
Check that the person is loaded in your roster: the direct link works for your company's employees. If they are on the roster and still cannot get in, write to us through the support chat.
Is this section order the one the employee sees?
Yes, it is the same. If the course is custom and you want to change it, it is reordered from the course editing, not from here.
I do not see the "Encuestas" tab. That is expected in your own courses when your company has the Habilitar encuestas de satisfacción option turned off (Configuración → General). In Whalemate courses it is always there.
It says "No encontramos el curso". The course does not exist or is not available for your company. Use Volver a los cursos.
