Gives flexibility to organizations that prefer to manage their own communications.
Avoids duplicate notifications if emails are already being sent from another system.
Navigation: Settings → Academy notifications
Go to Settings.
Locate the Academy notifications section.
Change the toggle:
On (default): users receive assignment emails for Courses and Learning Paths.
Off: assignment emails are not sent, but assignments are still recorded and reflected in analytics.
Save changes using the Save button.
Important: this toggle only affects assignment emails. It does not disable campaign emails.
If I disable it, do I lose metrics?
No. Metrics are recorded regardless of whether emails are sent.
Can it be configured per group or user?
No. It is a global setting that applies to the entire organization.
